A. Zombies don’t become a trend either. Too many people with loved ones turned into ghouls. The existence of Schrödinger, on the other hand, is not common knowledge, so it’s not long before cat-people are all the rage. (Thundercats gets back on-air even earlier, riding the trend.)

Q. About the flowers of Perun, where does their power come from? If it’s from Perun, what’s he (and any other deity) thinking about this whole Apocalypse thing?

A. The Flowers of Perun are a random old magical thing, like so many other random old magical things.

I haven’t worked out what deities think about the actions of our heroes; in fact, I don’t think it’s important. These people have to make their own lives the best they can, without worrying about how some mysterious outside observers (…or readers…) will judge it.

Q. Will Yumiko ever reconcile with her soeur? Come to think of it, did she ever get a name?

A. No, and no. But they’ve both moved on, and they’ll both find happiness: Yumiko with Heinkel, her former soeur as the lesbian nurse in a generic schoolgirl yuri series.
