The Religious Education Congress website explains a bit more. As Fenris explained, it’s very con-like (and “a good time to be had, even for agnostic weirdos like me”).

Yumiko: Actually, their is a gathering that’s a lot like Catholicon. It’s called the Religious Education Congress, and it’s held in California in March. With exhibits, speakers, workshops, and concerts, it’s almost a con! (A reader named Fenris tipped us off!)
