Seras: Captain…Pip…thanks. You’re good at distracting me.

Pip: C’mon, Seras, it can’t be that bad…You do sleep in one of these things, right?

Seras: It’s different.

Pip: Well, how?

Seras: It’s…complicated.

Pip: Try me.

Better brace yourselves everyone. If what I saw in Erin’s blog is correct, we may be in for a siege.

it’s actually a well known fact that you need the happy to make the emo work, if you’re thrown into drama from page one without humor anywhere to be seen, then you get bored and stop reading by page three. even hellsing found the formula of alternating the drama with the humor to give readers a break from being burnt out on one emotion and putting the book away.

plus, a lame joke or two makes the end of the world easier to handle.
