Alucard (thinking): I went into Integra’s dream to test and challenge her…

…and ended up being her knight, chauffeur, and therapist?

I have no idea how you did that. But I like it. I’m impressed…Master.

That was a good story arch. I especially liked the last strip of the arch when Alucard is impressed by Integra’s abilities in her dream.

I see it as more a combo of mostly Integra’s being more then he anticipated and his own abilities in that arena not being quite what he assumed or to paraphrase a response to a similair how did they do that question “This is inside Integra’s dream. If she truly wishes to she can do anything.” still you got to wonder what he did over the years to ensure she never displayed affection like that again for him save for the influence of the fang girls or a few bottles of wine? 😛

I love your analysis!

An important thing to keep in mind is that Integra doesn’t realize Alucard is messing with her dream. She thinks the prince is just another figure in her subconscious; if she’s even aware that he looks familiar (which is doubtful, as he never took a form that she would recognize), she’d just chalk it up to her mind assigning Alucard the role, the way it assigned her uncle the role of Rat King. (Did everyone catch that, by the way?)

Totaly missed the uncle thing I’m afraid 🙁 I’ll have to take another look at the panels with the Rat King now. *slips one of the dolls an extra cookie for lending me the dream qoute*

Well I gotta admit this will be a first for me, in buying some one a llama. I’ve given puppies, kittens, and fish but now I can add llamas to the list. However I draw the line at badgers.

“Badgers? We don’t need no STINKING BADGERS!!”
