Question a talking dog? Whatever for? In the series though they often seemed to make it seem as though just the group(or just Shaggy) truly understood Scooby… yet there where also times that others would respond to him. *shrug*

The best explanation I’ve heard for why nobody questioned the talking dog is that the whole series was a bad trip, probably on Shaggy’s part. (Think about it: a bunch of kids traveling the country with no visible means of support, seeing ghosts and goblins everywhere, and with a talking dog that nobody wonders about? Acid.)

On the other hand, in the Shineverse, it’s all real – but there are real consequences to Mystery, Inc.’s shenanigans, such as occasionally getting held at gunpoint =P

I wonder what would happen if Doggycard ate a “Scooby Snack” (because we all know what Scooby Snacks were really intended to be).

I hereby submit that “Jinkies” become Shine slang for Seras’s chest from now on (or even just women’s chests in general). As in, “Integra’s jinkies sure looked nice in ‘Red Rose Vertigo.'” I can definitely see Pip adopting such a term.
