Timothy: Those two girls! They were–!

Heinkel: Come on, kid.

Timothy: But they were kissing!

Heinkel: Let it go.

Timothy: She said “soeur.” Is that what all soeur relationships are like?

Heinkel: Timothy!

Let. It. Go.

Just saw the comparison between the last two strips. Did something happen in Yumiko’s past that caused her to leave the school? 😮

It would seem that way *nod*

Ah, poor Timmy-boy doesn’t know when to keep his mouth shut.

More on this later! But we already know that Yumiko had a soeur, and that soeur relationships are very close.

Timothy, you lovable idiot… When will you learn to do what Heinkel says and keep your naive mouth shut?

I loved Tokyo Mew Mew. My favorite Mew’s Pudding. She kinda reminds me of myself. XD “Look, I can type with my TOES, na no da!! ^.^” Imagine if she met Goku from Saiyuki? Sanzo’s fan wouldn’t last. XD

Oh, and I have to agree with Xuanwu- Kish (Quishe) X Ichigo is just awesome.

Obviously they neglected to brief Timothy on the special Papal Decree permitting such relationships in all girls, Catholic schools in Japan 😎

i just read the strips of the previous few days and the one in which confession was explained remebered me on a story from germany i heard a few months ago:

During Confession a Bank Robber handed the Priest a machine pistol and the loot of the robbery over. After the confession the Priest called the police but he couldn’t tell them from whom he got the weapon and the loot, but luckily for him he didn’t get arrested.

I don’t throw the events of A La Mode out of canon. But I don’t use the term “like Sue-centric fanfiction” to refer to any storyline I don’t like, either. In fact, I have never used it except re: A La Mode.

(Hey, it’s mentioned on the page! “Tokyo Mew Mew: Once Yoshida Reiko left the manga project, Ikumi Mia retconned many aspects to fit with the anime, rendered the main character practically useless for no apparent reason and gave her role to a Mary Sue; small wonder the resulting sequel, Tokyo Mew Mew a la mode, has been discarded by fans (and the editor — it lasted only two volumes).” I feel vindicated.)

…I think I, like Xu, am going to be lost on this site for hours.

Hey, I just noticed that Shine isn’t listed in their webcomic section. That’s not right. Heck, the only mention of it on the whole site is in the What Do You Mean Its Not Symbolic article.

Shadowfax272 on Thu Jan 10, 2008 1:02 am

Loads of Hellsing references, though.

The first time I found that site I lost TWO DAYS on it.

Urahara on Thu Jan 10, 2008 5:04 am

Aha, I’ve lost, at most, six hours there.

..At once.

I’m easily distracted.

I was worried for a minute that it would be calling out Shine on some overused trope, but no, it’s about the parody of an overused trope! I’m so proud.

…as for Shine not being listed: it’s a wiki. You can not only make a page, but find the tropes it uses and add references to those pages. I think you guys have yourself a Project 😀
