Isn’t That A Little Bit Dangerous, Jeeves? 9/60

Bertie Wooster’s vocabulary is very esoteric. There’s a partial list of expressions here.

Bertie (narrating): It’s not often that my man Jeeves runs into a set of circs. he can’t handle. He’s absolutely topping at dealing with pesky engagements and overbearing aunts.

But when my cousin’s fiancée began smashing dinner-tables in one go, I confess a touch of doubt crept into the Wooster melon!

Alucard (reading): “But, oh dear! I seem to have begun in the middle of things again…”

Integra: Our narrator is a bit of a twit, I see.

I wonder what odd piece of fanciful clothing Wooster will acquire that Jeeves disapproves of and gets tossed in the end? Hopefully nothing as bad as the banjolele.

Ooh, thought.

What if Jeeves was the one that taught Walter how to kick ass with floss?

Ok so pretty much Integra is getting a bedtime story told to her by her vampire pet who is voiced by Crispin Freeman…nothing wrong here

If I ever meet Crispin Freeman, I’m going to ask him to read a sample from Jeeves and Wooster as Wooster. I need to hear it. I really do.

I’ve actually talked to Crispin Freeman over the phone. He really DOES sound like Alucard (or Tsume) with his normal voice. :shucks:

Really? He said Alucard’s voice is deeper than his normal speaking voice… but the majority of his characters have the same timbre to their voices as he does (and before any of you snark at me that timbre never changes, that’s a filthy lie. Look at Steve Blum’s resume and call me in the morning).

And I’m still in the Hugh Laurie glow right now… Lord only knows how long I’ll be smiling during the next arc. Probably just as much as this one, if not more, seeing as Yomiko is involved.

True. Tsume of Wolf’s Rain and Regal of Tales of Symphonia are pretty much his normal voice. Also, Steven Blum voiced Yakky Doodle the Duck from Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law (Crispin plays Reducto in the video game, replacing the legendary Stephen Colbert). These guys are masters, which is why we love them. 😀

…..Did I give away that they’re two of my favorite dub VAs? XD
