Pip: Look, boss, you can’t stop the story there! Finish it before getting to the moral. Did the scroll go back to the library?

Aziraphale: You used the scroll…? How long ago?

Alucard: Ninety years. I served her father before her, and his father before him.

Aziraphale: And I never heard…maybe this is His will after all…

But still…on a mission from God, and you don’t mind working with a vampire? They’re practically fallen!

Crowley: Ahem.

Aziraphale: You hush, dear.

I’ve been studying the storyline so far. I would venture to saying that Yomiko, before torching the British Library, might have salvaged several volumes she felt were worthing of saving… and one of them was the Ripley Scroll. Further speculation would suggest that she asked Walter to request of Integra to take the scroll to Aziraphale… being that he was the best guardian for such an important document. šŸ˜€

So Azira and Crowley are in a relationship together? I wonder how the kids’ll turn out.

Azira….Crowley…. CHIIIIIIIIIIIIBIIIIIIIIIIIIIS!!!!! (flying-tackle-glomps)

Seriously. I want to make those into plushies. Crowley’s pout is frigging adorable, as is weirded out Aziraphale.

BTW, Mars, Aziraphale calls Crowley “my dear” or “my dear boy” omn a regular basis. When he was sent to England, he kind of went native. But since Erin ships Crowley/Aziraphale, it could be that too. ^_^

Azira and Crowley are not necessarily in a relationship, but they do “work together” (as equals, not master/servant).
In a nutshell, they have an “Agreement” to cooperate so that neither Heaven nor Hell would get too much of a lead over the other side, thus ensuring they won’t have to work themselves to the bone to out-compete each other.
Azira also does some tempting for Crowley while Crowley does some of Azira’s miracles for him, but that’s just for the sake of convenience and reduction of transportation time.

Aziraphale addresses Crowley as “dear” all the time in the book. The book also says the following: “Many people, meeting Aziraphale for the first time, formed three impressions: that he was English, that he was intelligent, and that he was gayer than a tree full of monkeys on nitrous oxide.” And at least one other character mistakes them for a couple (this after Crowley addresses Aziraphale as “angel” ).

So if you’re getting the impression that they’re in a relationship . . . that doesn’t necessarily mean anything, except that they’re written very close to canon ^_~
