Presents…? *u*

by Xuanwu on Tue Sep 25, 2007 8:33 pm

Hm. On one hand, Integra had to make it clear to Walter, Pip, and Seras that she was displeased with their actions. On the other hand…it means spending the after birthday party with only her servant for company.

by Frey on Tue Sep 25, 2007 8:41 pm

Integra tells Seras and Walter to get the catboy more appropriate clothes? What is wrong with what he is wearing now?

by Arvanna on Tue Sep 25, 2007 9:01 pm

I thought his attire was rather snazzy, especially for a formal dinner/party like Integra’s birthday. As for the party, well I hope Integra enjoys being alone with Alucard, not much of a lost for the rest, I mean I wouldn’t want to be hanging around the Boss in the mood she’s in there.

Presents? This should be interesting to see what everyone got Integra and if it improves her spirits any?

by Chaos Priest on Tue Sep 25, 2007 9:44 pm

I don’t think that it’s a matter of something being wrong with them per say, it’s just that formal attire probably isn’t the best clothing for everyday wear for an active young catboy. A simple t-shirt with jean shorts and a collar would probably be a lot better for his everyday wear.

Let’s just hope for Schroe’s sake that Seras isn’t one of those owners who feels the urge to dress her pets in silly outfits and take pictures. Although with a catboy I suppose that would be awfully tempting…

I hope it does. She hasn’t been having a very happy birthday thus far, has she? Well, maybe somebody will get her some exotic cigars. Integra would probably like that.

And Schroe could say “Happy Birthday” by coming up and giving her a nice little mouse 🙂

They’re Girlycard’s clothes, that’s what’s wrong with them ^_~

by Frey on Wed Sep 26, 2007 12:13 pm

That makes sense but I thought Integra does not know about Alucard’s form of Girlycard in the Shineverse (besides from the Nutcracker dream; but she did not know that was really Alucard). Or does Integra know that Alucard has worn those clothes?

by SailorPtah on Wed Sep 26, 2007 5:50 pm

The Nutcracker dream was seven or eight years ago, so she’s learned some things since then.

She hasn’t learned that Alucard looked like a teenage girl. (She always seems to be out of the room when the topic comes up.) However! When Alucard told Integra about the catboy, he explained that he provided the clothing.

It’s a male type of suit, so it doesn’t give away anything about Girlycard’s appearance (except that he was smaller of stature at the time).

even if you cash in a favor, there is no way its going to last for ever.
a merc goes after the money, plain and simple. ok maybe walter has a lot of favors left to ask of him.

but even then there will be a limit as to how much a person will take.

and then just to move into more details on mercenary groups:

as i saw the Wild Geese in the manga, Pip is the leader. he looks up job offeres, looks it if there able to pull it off, buy gear and ammo, take care of transport and gets the pay off at the end and splits it with his fellows.

he basically is the brains behind the Wild Geese, any body else is just musle/work-horse for the job its self.

i just hope Integral is paying every one with there own pay check, and not that Pip gets it and hand every one there share, or you may just end up with a roid of agry workers who won’t do there job untill they get payed…

*looks around* i just knew this information would come in handy. thank uncle, rest in peaces. XD

Hmm… what to give her as a present… maybe i would give her a silver sigar box with some old fashion Cuban cigars to go with it.

that will stop vampires from stealing her cigars like Jan Valentine did. Rofl!

by SailorPtah on Wed Sep 26, 2007 6:02 am

That’s a really clever idea!

by Tommygunner70 on Wed Sep 26, 2007 6:29 am

*chuckles* you realy think so?

Hmm… never mind, stupid question.

go ahead and use it should you want to, i don’t use copyrights on ideas anyhow :p

but yeah i thought of it when i remembered she smokes cigars on the go.
and if a smoker hates more then anything, it’s some one else snatching your smokes. that made me remember Jan commenting on the cigar thing.

but that sure would be one exspansive cigar box, unless Alucard it ready to give up some of his silverware (blessed silver amunition.) i just have to wonder where they can dig up so much silver anyway.

it sometimes makes me wonder how large there monthly buget is.

integra wants to be alone with alucard.Even if he didn’t do anything wrong, he wasn’t there when she needed him
doesn’t she care?

that’s what i think: when everything goes wrong, she wants to be with him
finally the vampire is the one she trusts the most, and the links between them are strong
am i wrong?

by Tommygunner70 on Wed Sep 26, 2007 7:22 am

i am not sure, i know that Integral for a time was depended on Alucard as Walter was away for some time. that was back when she was young.

i dont know if Integral was able to look after her self with cooking or what ever. but it might just be the case that Alucard basically even cooked food for her…

(i dont know if alucard remembers how to cook human food, but there is no doubt in my mind that would wear a cooking shirt reading ‘Kiss the Cook.” but with Kiss rubbed away and “Feed” would be written above it :p)

by Mrrout on Wed Sep 26, 2007 9:05 am

Alucard and Walter must have take care of her when she was adolescent and orphan, like (very) strange second fathers

by Tommygunner70 on Wed Sep 26, 2007 11:34 am

yeah i was thinking the same thing hence having a closer relationship with alucard and Walter.

but i would say that Alucard’s relation might be better with her.
as he was the one who saved her from a nasty bullet fired by her no good uncle.

in my experiance, people tend to have better relationships when such things are involved. i cant really put it down to english of what i am trying to say as i have to bridge the gap between my native Dutch and non-native english.

but still, sadly i know this from experiance.

by Reeku on Wed Sep 26, 2007 1:06 pm

I was thinking that Integra would have called on Alucard if she needed him that badly. Although I like where you were goin’ with it!

by SailorPtah on Wed Sep 26, 2007 5:50 pm

Definitely! It’s what she did in the TV anime. She held off on calling him until there was no other way, and then she called him and he came quickly.

Remember, the Hellsing mansion has a staff, including Walter, some maids, and a cook. I doubt Alucard was very paternal or caring when Integra was growing up, and definitely didn’t do housework.
