There are actually more Alex fangirls/boys in this storyline than there are for Integra. What gives?

Erin: Today I’m not going to answer a question someone sent to my inbox… instead I’ll share an answer someone sent. The question was asked by me while collecting profiles for the fangirls’ return, and it went as follows:

Fangirl: Where are all the Integra fangirls?

Erin: TheDeathBunnie was kind enough to send me the explanation:

“There aren’t any. See, there’s only a certain amount of energy in the world allotted to each character – once this ‘Fanergy’ is used up, there can be no more new fangirls/boys of that character until one of the old fangirls/boys relinquishes it to another would-be fanboy/girl. And you, my dear Erin, have effectively hogged up ALL of the Integra Fanergy. ^.^ There can be only one.”

Thanks for letting me in on that! Since I’m obviously not going to let any of my Integra finery subside, the solution is clear. We must invest significant funding in alternative fanergy sources to increase the supply! I’ll draft a bill on the subject and see if I can put it through Congress. Next time you see me, I’ll be on Capitol Hill!
